Editor Lector's Letter: Biographies of the Great Classical Composers
It is never too late to experience and approach the understanding and enjoyment of what the ancient Greeks called "the art of the muses" (hence the word "music"), an aesthetically inspired arrangement that organizes and combines sounds and silences based on to the principles of melody, harmony and rhythm to achieve the seductive experience that the listener perceives through the senses as a beautiful means of communication that goes beyond the different periods of human history, and that ignores the obstacles that separate and discriminate men such as ideologies, disparate religions, customs of various cultures, the most complex and remote languages and many other obstacles that music ignores from the moment it emerges from the transmitter as a universal language that is perceived without difficulty by the senses of the receiver, has or does not have any training.
My experiences with classical music started before I was a teenager. I remember being a follower of the National Symphony of Peru in theaters and outdoor performances at the Concha Acústica in Miraflores and at the Campo de Marte in Jesús María.
In adulthood it intensified more during my activities as host of the evangelical broadcast program called ‘The great commandment’ where a lot of classical music was used during the recordings. After this activity ceased to give way to this Blog. They were musical times, to mark a time, where Christian hymns and the beautiful compositions of classical music, were combined in an extraordinary way.
While I permanently continue to give my soul the universal language of classical music as a relaxation therapy, which is so much needed today. We cannot hide that in this modern world system with increasingly conflictive and selfish societies, what we most require is the power to relieve ourselves. The classical music of the Renaissance offered humanity magnificent musical works of art. I accept that there are modern classical music of a certain value, as well as beautiful modern compositions; However, the works of the classical masters help us among other things, to find peace, at least while we listen to them. Soon we will publish a new page with the biographies and others, of the main composers of classical music of all time.
With affection,
Ruben
