Andrew Newell Wyeth (July 12, 1917 – January 16, 2009) was an American realist and regionalist painter. He is one of the best-known painters of the 20th century and is commonly called the "People's Painter" due to his popularity with the American public. He was the son of illustrator and artist N. C. Wyeth, brother of inventor Nathaniel Wyeth and artist Henriette Wyeth, and father of artists Jamie Wyeth and Nicholas Wyeth.

The main subject of his works is the land and inhabitants of his hometown of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and his summer home in Cushing, Maine. One of the most famous images of 20th-century American art is his work Christina's Worlds, currently in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
