Reflection: what exists and what does not

what exists and what does not

What happened then convey to you many years ago in one of the universities of Berlin during a major conference of university students.
A university professor challenged his students with this question:
Did God create everything that exists?
A student answered bravely did.
Did God create everything? The teacher asked again. Yes sir, he answered.
The teacher then argument: If God made everything, then God made evil, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works are a reflection of us, then God is evil.
The student was silent before such a conclusion and Professor boasted had proven once more that faith was a mere myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, can cask a question professor?
Of course the teacher replied.
The student stood up and asked:
Professor does cold exist?
What kind of question is that? Of course there is. Perhaps you have not felt cold?

The boy replied: Actually, sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Everybody or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body have or transmit energy.
Absolute zero is the total absence of heat, and all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction, but the cold does not exist.
We have created this word to describe how we feel but we are hot.
What darkness exists? The student continued. The professor responded, of course.
The student replied: Again wrong sir, darkness does not exist.
Darkness is in reality the absence of light.
Light can be studied, darkness does not. There is even Newton's prism to break white light into many colors that is composed with different wavelengths. The darkness does not.

A simple ray of light tears the darkness and illuminates the surface where light ends.
How I can know how dark a certain space is?
Based on the amount of light in the space, is not it?
The darkness is another term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present.

Finally the young man asked the professor : does evil exist?
The professor replied: of course there as I mentioned at the beginning, we see violations, crimes and violence around the world, are evil things.

To which the student replied, evil does not exist, sir, or at least does not exist by itself.
Evil is simply the absence of God, and like the previous cases, is a word that man has created to describe the absence of God.
God did not create evil. It is like faith, or love that exists, as there are heat and light.

Evil is the result that the man does not have God in their hearts.
And it's like the cold when there is no heat or the darkness when there is no light.

The young man was standing applauded, and the teacher after nodding his head remained silent.
The Director of the University addressed the students and asks: What is your name?
Albert Einstein.
